Maurice Mezher

Maurice started singing when he was 8. He is currently at his sixth year studying modern oriental singing at the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory.

Having proved himself as a very talented vocalist, Maurice was the conductor of Notre Dame Choir in Bsalim for the last 2 years.

He worked with Horizon, the Pastorale Universitaire's band for 6 years and conducted the same group for two years. He also wrote, composed, and performed the band's song welcoming the pope Benedictus XVI in 2012 entitled "La2ano Shta2na".

As a solo singer, Maurice took part in many recitals at Mar Maroun church Gemayze and Mar Elias church Kantari. He performed as well in numerous festivals such as Majd El Meouch festival in May 2011, along with one special performance in the Syncope Choir Christmas Concert 2015 at Palais Des Congres, Dbayeh. Maurice is the writer and singer of "Saadat Al Sama" association hymn "Sheftou Jayi Mneb3id" in addition to many other songs. He was one of the finalists in "The Winner Is" TV show broadcasted on LBCI in 2013.
